Step 6 -
Taxonomy Time!!!
visit administer>content management>categories
click "add vocabulary"
create 3 vocabularies; year, medium, and tags
they all should be associated with all content types
hierarchy should be enabled (single or multiple is fine)
free tagging and multiple selections should be ticked in all 3
required should be ticked on year and medium only.
Step 7 -
visit administer>site building>menus
click "add menu"
title your menus accordingly (this menu will pull your taxonomy vocab)
Your vocabulary terms are now in the "navigation" menu. edit them and change the parent item to the menu you have just created.
the choice to have the menu expanded is up to you. I find that it's better to have it ticked.
Step 7.5 -
visit administer>site building>blocks
activate the new menu you just made, by choosing where you would like to see it appear.
Step 8-
To implement the image gallery function you will have to visit administer/settings/image_gallery to choose how many images will appear per page.
Then visit administer/content management/image galleries.
you will choose add gallery and name your gallery.
To add images to the gallery, create content>image and choose the gallery you would like it to appear in.
